Articles 2 & 3

Today,

I briefly explained Articles 2 and 3 of the Constitution. Article 2 explains the Executive Branch, and Article 3 explains the Judicial branch.

The power point is below....

PowerPoint Article 2&3

Here is the video shown in class as well....

I can tell by the looks on your faces, your eyes rolling in the backs of your heads, and the harsh gasps for air, that MOST of you are struggling with this section. Reading this is a TASK to say the least. With this said, it is a MUST! SO... here are some study pointers.

Focus on the charts, graphs, and pictures FIRST. Read over what each of them have to say. When you do this you are already gathering an idea of what the section will be discussing.

These charts are especially important because they focus on main ideas. Once you finish with that, you can then begin to read. Take notes, and split your notes into three sections (Article 1(The Legislative Branch), Article 2 (The Executive Branch), and Article 3 (The Judicial Branch).

ALSO! do not hesitate to ask for my help if you are struggling comprehending the material!

Homework due 10/10/12: p. 259 #1; p. 261 #1

And,

As a reminder, your project & Study Guide pages are due FRIDAY!
If you need the link to the project, it is in the previous post on this blog.

Have a stupendous night,

Mrs. McCartney
