Extra Points

Well, here goes nothing.

I wanted to try something a little new. So here is the extra credit, it is in the form of a video done by yours truly.

The extra credit will be due by friday. Turn in a 1/2 sheet of paper with your name on it and the answers to the two questions.

12.3 Conflict Over States' Rights

Main Idea: Jackson struggled to keep Southern states from breaking away from the Union over the issue of tariffs.

12.2 Jackson's Policy Towards the Native American

Today we discussed the Trail of Tears.

Main Idea: During Jackson's presidency, Native Americans were forced to move west of the Mississippi River.

Chapter 12- The Age of Jackson- 12.1 Politics of the People

A big welcome back from Thanksgiving Break! I will be happy to see your shining faces tomorrow morning/afternoon.

We will be beginning a new Chapter. This will be the final Chapter of the semester, as the final is in 2 weeks =).

Chapter 12.1 Politics of the People is the first section in the Chapter on America's 7th president, Andrew Jackson. This section is about how Jackson was elected and the ways in which he began to change American Democracy.
